RUSH-HOUR speed checks have been carried out on a busy route into Haddington.
Police officers were contacted by local residents about inconsiderate parking and large groups of youths gathering on Pencaitland Road, near Rosehall Place. Officers were out on March 19 between 7.30am and 9am.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The officers combined this with a speed check nearby.
"Officers found that there were no issues with parking.
"The youths, in small groups, were engaged and complying with current Covid guidelines.
"A number of drivers were spoken to and warned in line with Lord Advocate’s guidelines.”
