A TRANENT man has been placed on supervision after admitting behaving in an aggressive manner and assaulting a man at Meetinghouse Drive.
Liam Donaldson, of Baxter’s Gate, shouted, swore and uttered threats of violence towards Bruce McCrorie before punching him to the head.
Donaldson also uttered offensive remarks and damaged Mr McCrorie’s Fiat Punto by repeatedly punching and kicking it on December 29, 2019.
The 26-year-old also breached two bail orders when he entered a home at Baxter’s Gate and approached a woman after being told not to during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Donaldson was placed on a community payback order as an alternative to custody when he was sentenced at the Capital court.
The order consists of Donaldson having to adhere to 12 months of supervision.
