CANNABIS was found when police attended an accident in Tranent yesterday (Sunday).
East Lothian Community Action Team (ELCAT) officers were called out and had reason to believe a male driver was under the influence.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the man was “subsequently arrested and charged with Sections 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Act 1988”.
They added: “A search of his vehicle recovered a quantity of cannabis and he was charged with Misuse of Drugs Act offences as well as a breach of bail.”
