TWO men have been charged after police carried out drug searches in Tranent and Prestonpans.
Officers executed two warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act today (Monday), with “a quantity of drugs” recovered and seized.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed: “Two males aged 40 and 49 were charged and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
“East Lothian Police along with our partners will not tolerate the effects drugs have on our communities and will continue to work together to hold those supplying drugs accountable for their actions, as well as helping to rehabilitate and offer support for those affected by substance misuse.”
