A TOTAL of 325 calls were made to police in the Tranent and Elphinstone area in January, a slight decrease compared to the month before.
Out of the calls made, a total of 37 crimes were recorded.
Of the 37 crimes, three were fraud, five were theft, two related to shoplifting and one was housebreaking with intent to steal.
There was one recorded stalking, three assaults, three incidents of threatening or abusive behaviour, one fireraising and one incident of violence or disorder through communications.
There were six occasions of people breaching coronavirus restrictions.
Police were called to four misuse of drugs crimes, two acts of vandalism and one road traffic offence.
There were four other miscellaneous offences.
