MORE than 100 positive cases of coronavirus in East Lothian have been recorded in the past week.

Figures released by Public Health Scotland show 107 positive cases have been recorded based on people tested between February 22 and 28.

The county’s seven-day positive rate per 100,000 population stands at 99.9.

Both figures are up on the previous week, which showed 98 positive cases from February 13 to 19 and the seven-day positive rate per 100,000 population stood at 91.5.

The bulk of positive coronavirus tests are being recorded in the west of East Lothian.

The data offers a breakdown in the number of positive Covid-19 cases in each community.

Where an area has fewer than two positive cases, it is presented as 0-2 to protect patient confidentiality.

Here are the 10 parts of the county with the highest number of positive cases, in descending order, for the week of February 22-28. Where two areas have the same number of cases, the one with the lower population (and therefore the higher infection rate) is listed first.
