DOMINO’S has confirmed it will open its second East Lothian branch later this year.

The international pizza chain has kept-tight lipped on the prospects of opening in Tranent, despite permission being given for changes to be made to a vacant building on the town's Bridge Street (pictured below).

However, a poster (see below) appeared in the window of the closed former Indian restaurant premises looking for drivers and now Domino’s has confirmed its plans to open there.

Rachel Townsend, a spokesperson for Domino’s, said: “We’re delighted to be opening a new store in the Tranent area later this year, serving up 25 jobs in the local community.

“As part of this exciting store launch, we will now also service new delivery addresses in the Haddington area, making it even easier for our loyal customers to get their hands on our fresh, piping hot, homemade pizzas.
