A SHOCKING Instagram page that encourages children as young as 11 to post violent fight videos has been slammed as “horrific”.

The Instagram page, titled East Lothian Fights, features savage mobile phone footage of schoolchildren punching and kicking lumps out of each other.

One brutal clip shows a teenage girl being repeatedly punched to the head by another girl on the backseat of a bus while a group of the attacker’s friend's laugh in the background.

The aggressor, wearing a white jumper, is seen to punch and kick her victim as the youngster cowers in the corner of the bus.

Close to the end of clip, her shrieking friends are heard to shout out comments like “that’s shan [wrong]” and “that’s it now, leave it – that’s it, leave it”.

A second vicious 40-second video features two teenage boys punching each other to the head before they fall to the ground and are seen to kick each other on the body.

It is believed that most of the violent phone clips – which have been viewed hundreds of times – were filmed in locations in Tranent.

Stunned parents have now taken to social media to slam the Instagram account, which encourages its followers to “send in fight or arguing” clips.

One mum said: “I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. Came across this Instagram page and there’s kids I know following and liking the videos.

“It has made me feel sick – how can kids find this entertaining? The page needs shut down.”

Another parent posted: “I think I recognise some of these kids, it’s horrific. This page needs to be reported as some of these girls are 11 years old.”

While a third added: “All videos seem to be in Tranent. That bus video of a gang of young females about 14 years old beating up another young lass is horrific.”

The East Lothian Fights Instagram page attracted 140 followers and it is believed the account was created about one week ago.

The page had five ultra-violent video clips posted showing children engaged in fights but the page was suddenly taken down last night (Monday).
