POLICE have spoken to a man who was said to be acting suspiciously at a county beauty spot.
Officers announced on Wednesday that they were carrying out “focussed reassurance patrols” at John Muir Country Park, near West Barns.
Yesterday morning (Thursday), they gave an update on the situation and said: “Following recent reports of a male acting suspiciously in John Muir Country Park, local community officers attended this morning in plain clothes and stopped and identified the male responsible.
“He was spoken to regarding his actions.
“Anyone wishing to speak to police in relation to this matter are encouraged to contact Constables Hutchison or Bamford of Dunbar Police Station, quoting incident reference 537 of February 23.”
