COOKIES, cakes, pizzas and bread could be dished up as part of a school competition recognising brilliant bakers.
Knox Academy is hosting its first ever bake-off and is encouraging all pupils – and staff – to cook up a storm.
A spokeswoman for the Haddington secondary school said that there was no theme and was looking forward to seeing pictures of various baking creations.
She said: “Whether you want to make some delicious cookies, bake a cake, pizza or some fancy bread, it’s up to you.
"All we ask is that you send us a picture of your bake before you devour it.
"With a winner for each year group and a staff winner, it would be great to see as many entries as possible.”
Photographs of the tasty creations need to be sent, along with the pupil’s name and year group, to scochrane@edubuzz.org by Monday.
Winners will be crowned the following Friday.
