TWO sections of key roads in North Berwick are going to be closed for a total of two weeks.
On Monday a section of Law Road from Grange Road, near the schools and sports centre, to the crossroads junction with Clifford Road and St Baldreds Road will be closed.
This is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to take place, weather permitting.
The work is expected to last four days, until Friday (February 12).
A diversion is in place along Lochbridge Road, Dundas Road, Lady Jane Road and St Baldreds Road.
Access to Dundas Avenue and properties on the affected section of road will be maintained.
There will be a short period while work is being carried out when vehicle access will not be possible, details will be displayed on yellow signs nearby.
Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Work on resurfacing Law Road was due to be carried out last year, but it was cancelled due to the weather.

Then from Friday (February 12) until February 21, sections of Clifford Road, Station Road and Marmion Road will be closed, also for resurfacing work weather permitting.
The work will be carried out in three phases over the nine-day closure to minimise disruption.
Phase one affects the section of Station Road from its junction with Old Abbey Road to number 26 Clifford Road from Friday until next Sunday (February 14). Nungate Road and Marmion Road will reopen on February 15.
Phase two runs from number 26 Clifford Road to the junction with Kings Knoll from February 15 until February 17 and phase three is from the Kings Knoll junction to number 22 Clifford Road from February 18 until February 20.
A diversion route is in place using St Baldred’s Road, East Road, Quality Street, High Street, Forth Street, Beach Road, Station Hill and Station Road.
Access will be maintained for residents that do not have an access within the extent of the works.
The council has said that for both sets of roadworks “it will be helpful” if vehicle use is restricted to essential journeys during working hours.
Any changes will be notified on the Tell Me Scotland website.
