THE driver of a car believed to have been in an accident in Dunbar has been charged.
Police spotted that a vehicle had broken down on Belhaven Road on December 22.
Officers saw the vehicle was “displaying signs of recent accident damage”.
The incident was highlighted in a written report to the town’s community council last Monday.
The report noted: “Enquiries revealed that this had been involved in minor collisions with property and another vehicle on Belhaven Road shortly before; driver charged with relevant offences of failing to stop and failing to report an accident.”
