REGULAR police patrols are being carried out at a vennel off Haddington High Street after complaints about youths gathering.
Officers were called out on Hogmanay and January 2 to Ross’s Close.
The incidents were highlighted to the town’s community council last Tuesday.
A report from Constable Natalie Dalziel, youth community officer, noted: “Upon police arrival, the youths dispersed. Both police and the community wardens are continuing to patrol this area.”
Police Scotland can be contacted on 101.
