POLICE are investigating the issue of ‘tagging’, which has become widespread in the Musselburgh area over recent weeks.
Disused buildings, walls of businesses, bus shelters, various street furniture including signage, bins and broadband exchange boxes are all being targeted with the graffiti.
The main tags noted are ‘BAKU’ and ‘KTR’.
East Lothian Police stated: “Any information regarding who could be the culprit or indeed knowledge of what ‘BAKU’ may stand for, please contact PC Hughes, Musselburgh Community Policing, on non-emergency police contact number 101.”
