AN INVESTIGATION was launched after a man was spotted in what was described as a “straight jacket” in Dunbar.

Concerns were raised over social media about a man acting in a manner which was causing “alarm and distress”.

Police launched an investigation and a spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We can now confirm that on December 31, a male was traced and charged with three offences relating to these concerns.

“A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
