A MUSSELBURGH man has been found guilty of shouting racial comments towards a neighbour following a trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
David Swan denied a charge of acting in a racial manner towards Mariwan Morsher outside their homes on Galt Road.
Swan stood trial in front of Sheriff Donald Corke last Tuesday and was found guilty after the evidence had been heard.
Sheriff Corke sentenced Swan to pay a fine of £250.
Swan was found guilty of acting in a racially aggravated manner which caused distress to Mr Morsher by shouting racial comments at him at Galt Road on August 31 last year.
