A MUSSELBURGH man has been ordered to be of good behaviour pending sentencing after he was found guilty of intending to commit theft.
John Scott, of Loretto Court, was found within the curtilage of a property at Broomhall Road, Penicuik, on February 25.
He was charged with being found there and having the intention to commit theft at the home.
The 32-year-old denied the allegation and stood trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Friday.
Following the evidence being heard, Sheriff Roderick Flinn found Scott guilty as charged.
Sheriff Flinn deferred sentence to April next year and told Scott to be of good behaviour in the meantime.
