IT IS NOT just snow East Lothian is being warned about by the Met Office tomorrow (Friday), a second yellow weather warning has been put in place in the county for rain.

Running from 6am-11.59pm, people are being warned to expect disruption due to persistent and at times heavy rain that will start developing tonight (Thursday).

Rain will ease tomorrow evening but is between 25 and 75 millimetres of rain is expected to fall.

Homes and businesses are likely to be flooded with public transport services potentially being affected and journey times taking longer.

Spray and flooding on the roads may also affect car journey times.

Power supplies and other services are likely to experience disruption.

A yellow warning for snow is already in place across the south-west of the county from 10pm tonight until 9am tomorrow morning.
