Belhaven Brewery has reason to celebrate
A GLASS has been raised to celebrate Belhaven Brewery’s success at a national awards ceremony.
Belhaven Scottish Ale was awarded the bronze medal for the Best British-Style Ale category at the Scottish Beer Awards.
The beverage was commended for its exceptional taste and individuality, as the smooth, rich and nutty ale impressed judges throughout the marking process.
Matt Starbuck, Greene King brewing and brands managing director, was delighted with the result.
He said: “Our brewers are passionate that every beer that leaves our brewery is of the finest quality.
“Belhaven Scottish Ale was up against some tough competitors, so it is great news that the judges awarded it with a bronze medal in Best British-Style Ale.”
