PART of the railway line into East Lothian was closed yesterday evening (Tuesday) as emergency services dealt with an incident in Musselburgh.
ScotRail first alerted passengers shortly before 10.15pm.
Network Rail confirmed that there were trespassers on the railway between Musselburgh and Wallyford, with the line closed five minutes later.
Services were cancelled, delayed or revised as a result.
The line was able to reopen at 10.40pm and the incident was declared clear at 11.20pm.
All disruption has now ended and train services to East Lothian are no longer being affected.
