Woman attacked in Prestonpans leads to police appeal
A WOMAN was attacked in Prestonpans on Saturday morning.
Thankfully, the 47-year-old only sustained minor injuries.
The incident took place at 10.30am on North Grange Avenue.
Police in East Lothian are now appealing for witnesses and encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for anyone within the area between 10.15am and 10.40am who might be able to assist the ongoing enquiry to come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1185 of November 21. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
