A DRIVER stopped by police in Cockenzie had “a large bag” containing drugs.
East Lothian Community Action Team (ELCAT), alongside their roads policing colleagues, stopped the vehicle last Thursday.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said that the male driver was “found in possession of a large bag containing controlled drugs”.
The spokesman added: “The driver was arrested and charged and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
“If you know or suspect someone to be involved in drug supply, please continue to report this on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
