AN ORMISTON man has been ordered to carry out unpaid work in the community after assaulting a man on a bus.
Connor Robertson, of Park Road, struck Thomas Holloway to the head to his injury during an altercation on the X7 bus between Haddington and Edinburgh.
Robertson appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, where he was told he must complete 200 hours of unpaid work for the assault, which took place on December 21, 2018.
Sheriff Donald Corke also told Robertson, 24, he would have an extra 50 hours of unpaid work to complete due to failing to appear for a court date on March 13 last year.
