A TRANENT resident has been ordered to be of good behaviour after admitting making derogatory remarks towards his partner.
Joshua Caddy, of Civic Square, will be sentenced next year following his guilty plea to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards the woman at an address in Musselburgh earlier this year.
Caddy, 30, also shouted the remarks to the woman and slammed a door and refused to leave the property when asked to do so.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday, where Sheriff Fraser told him to be of good behaviour until the sentencing hearing on February 23.
A plea of not guilty to a charge of assaulting the woman during the same incident on May 8 was accepted by the Crown.
