A SECTION of footpath near two schools in Dunbar will be shut for much of this month.
The footpath on Belhaven Road, to the west of Belhaven Hill School, closed on Monday.
Work will be carried out on the wall beside the path until November 22, with the path closed in the interests of public safety.
The path is used by a number of children making their way to and from nearby Dunbar Grammar School.
