A MOTORIST whose car struck a pedestrian while they were on a zebra crossing has escaped being banned from the road.
Ann Skedd, 66, appeared at Edinburgh Justice of the Peace Court, where she admitted driving without due care and attention and hitting Lee Napier with her vehicle.
Skedd struck the pedestrian at the crossing at Lochside Crescent in Edinburgh on November 22 last year.
Justice Keith Parks fined Skedd, of Crookston Road, Inveresk, a total of £450 and placed five points on her licence.
