HALLOWE’EN might be a little different this year due to coronavirus and the current restrictions in place but that has not stopped residents across East Lothian decorating their houses and celebrating spooky season in style.

Children (and adults) are going to have to swap the doors of their neighbours for those in their own home while trick or treating this year.

While some people have decided to not celebrate Hallowe’en this year, others have decided to decorate their houses and driveways.

Some people like Kevin Mcbrierty from Musselburgh have decorated their gardens.

Stacey Duncan sent in this image of her decorations at her house in Gifford.

Eran Grantham from Whittingehame joined them and sent us in this image of her two witches Mable and Margery enjoying a responsible drink at Dracula’s Pub…also known as the end of her driveway, and waving at her neighbours as they pass.

The pair are following the Scottish Government guidelines by wearing their face masks.

East Lothian Courier:

Georgina Tait from Prestonpans sent in this image of her decorated Hallowe’en hut, which saw new decorations added this year.

East Lothian Courier:

Angela Lockhart from Haddington sent in this image of her two-year-old son Harry enjoying his Hallowe’en garden.

Stephanie Thomson from Port Seton created her own village using her decorations.

She sent in this image of Village of the Damned.

Others took their decorations and celebrations inside, like Michelle Stoddart from Tranent whose two young children helped her with this Hallowe'en window painting.

Julie Dudgeon from Tranent sent us these images of her enjoying a Hallowe’en movie night in her house with her family.
