AN APPEAL has been launched to find an 85-year-old man, who has not been seen since before 5pm today (Sunday).
Police are calling on members of the public to help them find John Paxton, from Haddington.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "He was last seen at Mill Wynd, Haddington, at 4.50pm on Sunday.
"He has lived in Haddington most of his life and has previous links to Lydgait and Lyn Lea areas.
"His late wife is buried at St Martin’s church.
"John Paxton is also known as Ian and is described as 5ft7, slim, short grey hair.
"Possibly wearing long sleeved grey top and dark coloured trousers.
"Anyone who may have seen John Paxton, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2822 25/10/2020."
