ALL the windows of a car parked in Prestonpans have been smashed with a tyre wrench.

The yellow Vauxhall Astra had been parked, secured and undamaged, on the town’s Redburn Road at its junction with South Grange Avenue.

Police are looking to trace the person responsible for the incident, which took place at about 5.30pm on September 14.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Following enquiries, it would appear that several witnesses have then seen a male, described as white, mid-20s, five-foot eight-inches tall, medium build, short dark hair, wearing dark clothing, approach the vehicle and then proceed to smash all the windows with a tyre wrench or similar.”
