FIREFIGHTERS in North Berwick are going to be battling dirty cars instead of fires this weekend.
Those at the station will be pointing their hoses at mucky vehicles as they take part in a charity car wash.
It will be held at the fire station on Station Road, near North Berwick Train Station from 10am-2pm.
A five pound minimum donation is recommended with money going towards the Fire Fighters Charity.
The charity provides rehabilitation and support services for firefighters, including serving and retired firefighters, fire service personnel and their families.
As well as the car wash, there will also be a recruitment information day for those interested in joining the fire service.
