Three people were taken to hospital this morning after a crash on the motorway in Glasgow. 

Two-vehicles collided on the M77 southbound just after 7am. 

The lanes were quickly reopened but traffic was temporarily slowed on both the M8 and M77.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police were called around 7.00am on Monday, 28 September 2020, following the report of a two-vehicle road crash at junction one on the M77 Southbound.

"Emergency services attended and three people have been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for checks. The carriageway is now clear."
