A NUMBER of students at Queen Margaret University are isolating after a positive test for coronavirus was confirmed.
A student at the Musselburgh university tested positive for the condition, which has resulted in students in the halls of residence self-isolating.
Already, the university has been in touch with students offering “appropriate guidance and advice”.
Any student not contacted is expected to attend classes as normal.
The positive test becomes the latest in East Lothian, with three of the county’s six secondary schools also recording positive tests.
Musselburgh Grammar School, Haddington’s Knox Academy and Preston Lodge High School in Prestonpans have all recorded positive tests.
Preston Tower Primary School in Prestonpans and Haddington Primary School have also had positive tests, as has St Mary's Nursery in Haddington.
