BOOTS will remain in Haddington town centre, despite its home going under the hammer.
The pharmacy is based at 35-36 High Street – a building marketed by Future Property Auctions, with a guide price of £450,000.
However, the national chain stressed that even if the building was sold, it would be business as usual.
A 10-year FRI (full repairing and insuring) lease with no break option is in place.
A spokeswoman for Boots said: “There will no impact on the store, which will remain open and trading as normal.”
