Police arrested a man
A VEHICLE was stolen in North Berwick on August 15.
The vehicle was taken from Law Road.
Shortly after, a report was received regarding a man with a similar description being seen in a number of gardens acting suspiciously.
Police traced the man, who refused to provide details.
He was arrested and taken to St Leonard’s Police Station, Edinburgh, where he was charged with various offences, including theft of a motor vehicle and intended theft.
The vehicle was later found abandoned within the North Berwick area.
