A MAN was charged in Dunbar today (Thursday) with several road traffic offences.
The 22-year-old was stopped by community police officers, who were out on mobile patrol at the time, while driving a vehicle at the town’s Asda store.
Roads police officers attended and, after checks were carried out, the driver was charged with having no valid insurance, driving whilst disqualified and taking the vehicle without the owner’s permission.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
