THE Fraser Centre in Tranent is reopening on Monday and running a limited number of events.

The centre closed on March 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown but now, as restrictions ease, it is able to reopen its doors once again.

Times and capacities for the centre’s events have changed and pre-booking is required for all events; only those who have pre-booked into an event will be able to gain access.

Carers are permitted but must have also booked in advance.

People who have symptoms of coronavirus or who have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or shown symptoms are asked not to visit the centre.

Upon arrival, all visitors must stay outside the building until access has been given by a member of staff.

People will be asked to sanitise their hands and provide contact details unless they are collected by a class tutor in advance; temperatures will also be taken.

People are also asked to keep a two-metre distance in all areas of the building, wear a face mask at all times unless authorised, follow signage instructions within the building, only bring one bottle of water or soft drink, not move furniture and avoid cash payments where possible.

Toilets and changing facilities will not be available in the centre.
