A TRANENT man who assaulted a woman in the town has been admonished after he stayed out of trouble for six months.
Michael Sneddon, of Lindores Drive, assaulted the woman by grabbing her head and squeezing her cheeks during an altercation at an address at the town’s Elphinstone Road.
Sneddon also pushed the woman on the body, causing her to fall to the ground, on July 28 last year.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last year and sentence was deferred for him to be of good behaviour.
Sneddon returned to the Capital court last Friday, where Sheriff Donald Corke heard he had stayed out of trouble since his last court appearance.
The sheriff said he was content to admonish Sneddon on the charge.
