THREE men were allegedly involved in hare coursing near North Berwick yesterday evening (Monday).
At about 8.50pm, police were called to Kingston, about two miles south of the town.
Three men were spotted in fields with two dogs and they later left the area in a blue Daihatsu 4x4 vehicle.
Police are making further enquiries in regards to the incident.
Members of the East Lothian Partnership Against Rural Crime target hare coursing as one of their priorities and incidents such as this one are treated seriously.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident in Kingston is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 3670 of August 10.
