A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following a fire where £250,000 of damage was caused.
The incident happened at about 5pm on Tuesday, when a barn at Setonhill Farm, south of Longniddry, was set on fire.
No one was injured and the blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
However, damage totalling £250,000 was caused to a tractor and other agricultural equipment along with about 100 tonnes of straw bales.
The fire also caused damage to the barn itself.
The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Friday) charged in connection with wilful fireraising.
