A SIXTY-SEVEN-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after an accident on the A1 on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called out to the incident, which took place at about 6am near Thistly Cross Roundabout, west of Dunbar.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police were joined by colleagues from the Scottish Ambulance Service, and the southbound carriageway was restricted to allow them to deal with the accident.
“A 67-year-old female was treated for minor injuries and conveyed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary as a precaution.”
