HIGH-VISIBILITY patrols will take place throughout the summer along a popular path, following complaints about youngsters riding off-road motorbikes there.
Constables Colin Boyd and Charlie Duncan, Haddington and Lammermuir community officers, have received a number of complaints regarding youths riding off-road motorbikes in an anti-social manner along the Haddington-Longniddry Railway Walk.
A spokesman for Police Scotland told the Courier that patrols along the four-mile path would be carried out during the summer.
He said: “If offences are detected, riders face being reported to the procurator fiscal and having their motorbikes seized.”
