A MAN has been arrested in Prestonpans with being in possession of a stun gun.
The incident happened at about 6.15pm yesterday (Monday) after police received a report of a man walking though a park near Preston Lodge High School with the device.
Chief Inspector Neil Mitchell, area commander for East Lothian, said: "I would like to reassure the community that incidents like this are rare and nobody was injured.
“Our officers responded quickly, a man was then traced and arrested at 6.55pm and the device was seized."
The 33-year-old is due to appear in Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Tuesday).
