COMMUNITY police officers in Musselburgh have targeted Carberry Woods in recent months following complaints about antisocial behaviour.
They have also been addressing concern about speeding on various roads in the ward area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Recently, staggered wooden fencing has been installed within Carberry Woods, in an attempt to slow cyclists down using the paths which are also used by walkers.
"Some of these fences have already been removed and damaged, and community officers conducted hi-visibility foot patrols in the area over the weekend."
Anyone who may have information in relation to the fencing in Carberry Woods, should contact the community officers at MusselburghEastCarberryCPT@scotland.pnn.police.uk
The spokesperson added: "Static Pro Laser speed checks were also conducted at Linkfield Road, Pinkie Road and Carberry Road.
"Five drivers were warned with regards the manner of their driving in accordance with road traffic legislation and one driver was issued a fixed penalty ticket for speeding in a 30 mph zone."
