THE community is being asked to turn out tomorrow evening (Saturday) to mark Whitecraig Gala.
Gala Queen Neve Campbell and Gala King Roby Gray, accompanied by piper Matt Sinclair, will walk round the village, waving their flags while observing Covid-19 pandemic social distancing rules.
They will start at the local primary school at 7pm and cover most of Whitecraig.
Local residents are being asked to stand safely at their gates to cheer on the royal party and mark the gala which has been cancelled this year due to the coronavirus crisis.
They are also being urged to put up flags at their houses.
