GENEROUS Haddington residents have donated more than £2,000 to support the work of an international charity.
Christian Aid Week would usually see door-to-door collections throughout the town, with members of the town’s churches coming together.
However, the coronavirus lockdown meant there had to be a change in the way the money was collected during the annual fundraiser, which took place from May 10-16.
An online appeal was launched with residents donating £2,101 to the charity, which works to support sustainable development, eradicate poverty, support civil society and provide disaster relief throughout much of the world.
