A MAN caught driving at almost 100 miles per hour on East Lothian’s busiest road has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Officers from the local Road Policing Unit conducted speed checks yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
During a static speed check on the A1, near Gladsmuir, a 48-year-old man was stopped driving at 99 miles per hour.
The man was charged with the relevant Road Traffic legislation and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
