A PRESTONPANS woman who stole alcohol and food from a county supermarket has been admonished.
Michelle Foy, of Preston Terrace, took alcohol and food from the Co-op store at Rosebery Place, Gullane.
Foy, 37, committed the crime on March 21 last year.
She appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last November to admit the theft and sentence was deferred to last week for Foy to be of good behaviour.
Sheriff Roderick Flinn was told she had stayed out of trouble since her last appearance in the dock and he said he was content to issue an admonition.
Foy had a not guilty plea to stealing alcohol from the Co-op at Brotherstone Way, Tranent, on March 22 last year accepted by the Crown.
Co-accused Gordon McLeod, of North Grange Avenue, had not guilty pleas to both thefts accepted by the Crown last year.
