RESIDENTS in a Johnstone care home have sent messages to loved ones who are unable to visit.
Cochrane Care Home, in Quarrelton Road, has had to close its doors to help tackle the spread of coronavirus – but that hasn’t dented the positive attitude of those staying there.
The self-isolating residents have posted pictures with their messages to family on social media and held Skype calls with loved ones.
Margaret Kelly, who lives in Australia, was able to chat online with her mum, who is among the care home residents.
She said: “The staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty in facilitating contact by Skype between residents and family.”
