THE first case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the Lothian area.
It is not known where about in Lothian the person who has been infected is from.
They join five new cases, with two confirmed in Fife, one in Grampian and one in Forth Valley, taking Scotland’s total cases to 11.
Scotland’s first case was confirmed in Tayside on Sunday.
As of this afternoon, 1,525 people have been tested for coronavirus in Scotland.
Over 20,000 people have been tested across the UK, with only 163 coming back as positive.
