A DISTURBANCE on Tranent High Street this afternoon (Thursday) resulted in police being called.
A police spokesman confirmed that officers were called to the incident shortly before 1.20pm and enquiries are ongoing to “establish the full circumstances”.
No one was injured.
Despite reports on social media that a knife was involved, police said there was no evidence to suggest there were any weapons involved.
